In the orchid nursery, you will encounter ’t Stekkasje surrounded by thousands of cymbidiums. ‘t Stekkasje is a greenhouse that-even though it looks like it is brand new-has a rich history. Namely, it was the first greenhouse of our great-grandfather. It has been fully restored to bring the history of the Orchideeën Hoeve to life. As soon as you enter ‘t Stekkasje, you travel back in time and discover the 100-year history of the Maarssen family business through exceptional stories and beautiful paintings. Curious?
