There are plenty of opportunities for discovering our tropical park when you use a wheelchair, scooter or rolling walking frame. The entire main route, displayed on our map, is wheelchair-accessible. However, please take into account that a few trails have been enriched with adventurous aspects. Examples are clinker-brick paving and hills. Our park offers several toilets and parking spaces for people with disabilities.

We are open throughout the year, seven days per week, except on New Year's Day. Monday till Saturday, 9:00 - 18:00. On Sunday and public holidays, 10:00 - 18:00.

Yes, the Orchideeën Hoeve is entirely indoors. All gardens, the restaurant, and the shop are covered by a single roof. Hence, your stay with us will always be comfortable, even in adverse weather conditions.
You can buy admission tickets at the entrance of the gardens or order them online via this link. You can buy your admission tickets, including a group discount, at our reception desk on the day of your visit itself if you are visiting our tropical park with a group of ten or more adults. Gift vouchers, coupons, and e-tickets can be redeemed at our reception desk.
No, there is no need to print out the tickets. However, you must be able to legibly display the barcode of the tickets on a smartphone or a tablet so that they can be scanned.
Yes, that is certainly possible. You can obtain information for group packages (10 persons or more) at our reception. You must make reservations for groups of 10 persons or more.
There is adequate parking space in front of the Orchideeën Hoeve. Parking is free of charge.
While there is a recharging point for e-bikes on the right hand side of the entrance, we cannot offer the same convenience for electric cars.

Yes, the Orchideeën Hoeve offers free access to a Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi password can be obtained at the reception desk.
If you need medical assistance, get in touch with our reception desk in the central hall or one of our staff members. In case of an emergency, alert one of our staff members as soon as possible.
Baby changing facilities have been set up in the central hall and in the ‘Suspended’ Flower Garden. Those facilities can also be used for pumping breast milk or for feeding.
Dogs are welcome on our premises, provided that you adequately walk your dog in advance at the car park and keep the animal on a leash on our premises. Dogs are not allowed in the new Lory Garden. There is a special route around the outside of the aviary. Our restaurant will also welcome your dog. However, we kindly ask that you do not bring your dog along to the self-service buffet as this is against hygiene regulations.
There are a limited number of wheelchairs available that can be used by our disabled visitors. If you would like to use one of those wheelchairs, please contact our reception, telephone +31 (0) 527 20 28 75.
Children up to and including 3 years old can enter free of charge.
Children from 4 up to and including 12 years old must pay € 8.00 per child for an admission ticket. From the age of 12, children pay the same admission fee as adults.
Visitors who are 65 or older receive a discount on the adult admission fee.
You receive a free map of our park when you buy an admission ticket or submit your e-ticket at the entrance to the gardens. Here, you can also consult this floor plan online.
You can order food and/or beverages in our cosy greenhouse restaurant and the bistro ‘Sakura’ in the ‘Suspended’ Flower Garden. Sweets and beverage dispensers have also been placed in a number of the gardens. The Orchideeën Hoeve does not permit the consumption of foodstuffs that you have brought with you.
Yes, we do serve several gluten-free dishes. Please ask for the gluten-free menu at any of our dining venues or consult it here online.
No, there is a smoking ban throughout the premises. While, there is no smoking area in our park, there is a covered one outside in front of the entrance of the Orchideeën Hoeve.
You can pay for your purchases using a bankcard with PIN in our restaurant, in our shop, at the entrance of the gardens, and at our reception.
Photographs can be taken throughout the park for personal purposes. However, we do charge a fee and require a reservation if you want to take photographs for your portfolio, graduation project or promotional purposes. Contact us via or on +31 (0) 527 20 28 75 to make a reservation.
Did you find an item in our park? Please bring it to our reception desk in the central hall. Contact our reception desk via or on +31 (0) 527 20 28 75 if you have lost an item. Items found are kept for seven days.
