The Orchideeën Hoeve,
a world full of colours and blossoms!
Already thousands of visitors stared at the wonders of Nature in surprise. Not veryremarkable for the Orchideeën Hoeve is home to a world full of colours and blossoms.
In a natural way we host the most talked-about pearls of Nature, called orchids and butterflies, together account for more than 3000 species. But there’s more! In the Butterfly Valley you’ll find tropical birds, reptiles and ponds full of koi.
The tropical garden, ‘a simulated piece of jungle’, is home to thousands of wild orchids and many of them only can be admired in our gardens.
The Malaysian garden is the largest: this garden measures no less than 2.000 square meters. A 18 meter long bridge connects the pile dwellings. New in this garden: the lovely lounge area with great hammocks among the tropical fruit trees.
The interplay of nature, shopping, the tropical restaurant and enjoy entertaiment made the Orchideeën Hoeve a complete day out for all ages.
For children there’s an exciting treasure hunt along the many tracks. Further they can get rid of their energy at the bouncy house or by feeding the koi. The arty types among us could attend a workshop for making a flower arrangement.
After all tropical adventures you’ll continue your way up to the nursery garden: it’s very interesting tot see orchids growing from a tiny little seed to a beautiful flowering plant. Our employees are happy to give professional advice for your indoor plants at home.
The Orchideeën Hoeve is totally covered, has no thresholds and is accessible for wheelchairs.
